What is Cyberethics??

Cyberethics
Ethics are principles or morals. They refer as the human conduct and they way people are suppose to act. Cyberethics refer to how the people are suppose to act in the internet as in being respectful to themselves  and others. 


Scenario#1
It was not correct for the student to sen that harassing email to the other student but also it was not right for the other student to send the "flaming email" they would both get in trouble since its not right to be disrespectful on teh internet even though hte first student started. What the student should have done was report that email to a teacher or to an administrator. 


Scenario#2 
Well i depends if the person is with a group of friends and their parents call him for something important or emergency like then yes it would be okay because family come first sll the time. Now if it was another friend than it wouldn't be right because that is disrespectful to your friends is like basically saying they aren't important and that you rather talk to the other friend then being with them which is disrespectful. 


Scenario#3 
It would not be right for the student to download that song from the free file sharing website because its illegal and since he is not paying for it its also not fair tot he artist because he a living on people buying his songs and the people stealing their songs from a free file sharing website its not right.


Scenario#4
The student is to blame he was not to download the link in the first place if it looked suspicious and the school computers are to do school work not to do something else. They should blame the student for doing something he wasn't suppose to on the computers so it is his fault. 


Scenario#5
It's not okay for the student to go to the library and  plagiarize the the author of that paper has to take credit for that and the student has to come up with his own work and it wouldn't be fair for the author and the student wont be learning anything and its also illegal.      


Scenario#6
To make their own DVD's is illegal, DVD's have their own companies that package the DVD's so for a student to download and burn DVD's and then package them its illegal since all DVD's are copyrighted so its not right and illegal. 


Scenario#7
The student is not breaking any rules. The school website is posted for the benefit of the student they use it in case they lost some notes papers or if they missed school one day and they didn't receive the notes or the homework. 


Scenario#8
This was not disrespectful they didnt know there was going to be people with disabilities that would want to see the website they had no control of that. Now hte people with disabilities could ask for help and have other people read it for them and they can also be informed. They were not trying to be disrespectful, they were just trying to help. 


Etiquette is very important because it shows class and education in other people it also shows respectfulness towards other people. I don't think anybody will survive in our society if it wasn't for ethics, people who don't use ethics are often judged. I thinks we are spending class time in ethics because is important to have them in school and outside of school it just shows who we are and shows respect towards other.
